  4. Each player must produce photo ID to be submitted with the official team list. Failure to do so will eliminate the players from taking part in the tournament.

  5. Teams cannot play a non registered player during the course of the competition. Should they do so they will be expelled from the tournament.

  6. Each team may make as many substitutions as they wish within the panel of 12 players. Each substitute must report to the subs-coordinator where they will receive a baton, which they will give to the player being substituted, who will return the baton to the coordinator. No player may enter a game/pitch without a baton.

  7. Each team must start their game with a minimum of 5 players and must start the second half with 7 players.

  8. Any player receiving 3 yellow cards during the competition shall be suspended for the next game within the seven a side. Any New York player receiving a yellow card in the shield or cup final will have the card carry over to the regular season.

  10. The schedule of play will be determined by an open draw.

  11. There will be one point awarded for a draw and two points for a win.

  12. In the event of a tie for any position in the divisions, the placing shall be decided by a penalty shootout consisting of 5 penalties per team. Should the teams still be tied the taking of penalties shall continue, by using the remaining members of the panel until a winner is determined. E.g. If a team scores from a penalty, the opposite team has the opportunity to take their score. If they miss they lose. If not they continue until a team misses. If a decision is not reached after all 12 players have taken their penalties, the team shall recommence taking penalties using players in any order they choose. Please note: Points do count but all penalty shots must be taken from the ground. Game scores will not be taken into consideration to determine a playoff position.

  13. In the event of a draw in the semi-final or final of the championship, overtime shall be played consisting of 5 minutes per half. If the teams are still drawn, a penalty shootout will determine the winner.

  14. Games shall consist of 10 minutes per half except finals of the championship and shield which will be 15 minutes. In the event of uneven divisions each team will play the same amount of time as determined by the organizing committee.

  15. The referee's decision in any question or fact is final.

  20. All teams must have 2 sets of jerseys of different colors so that no 2 teams have identical colors. A toss of coin will determine who will change.
