What are Vhi Cúl Camps?
Vhi Cúl Camps is a co-coordinated program, where children are encouraged to learn and develop sporting and life-skills by participating in Gaelic Games, in a fun, non-competitive environment. Maximum 80 Children per location.
Why are Vhi Cúl Camps Cool?
Irrespective of sporting skills or ability, at Vhi Cúl Camps children are encouraged to:
- Have fun!
- Enhance their sporting skills through participation in Gaelic games
- Learn new ideas and meet new people
- Stay active and healthy!
Children will also receive a full set of playing gear (jersey, shorts and socks) and a nifty knapsack.
What DO children DO at Vhi Cúl Camps?
The camps are structured so that a different aspect of the game is worked on each day. The program involves coaching specific skills of the game and the opportunity for children to put into practice what they have learned through small-sided games. On the last day of the camp a "blitz" will be organized to provide each child with an introduction to competitive games.
